Class Title I See Your True Colors: A Journey in Creating Your Personal Power Palette
Theresa Hill
Yarn Dyer Extraordinaire
Class Description
In this workshop, Theresa will start her intimate knowledge of color as symbol and energy. She will add a hint of theory, a dab of psychology, and a sprinkle of symbology to set the stage for experimenting and exploring how to infuse your energy into the hand dyeing process. Starting with a blank knitted canvas, students will learn hand dyeing techniques that give them a completed tapestry from which they can create future works where each stitch carries the heart of the maker. This is a class all about experimenting, playing, and having fun with color. Theresa brings more than 8 years of hand dyeing experience and a lifetime of knitting to her classes. She’s ready to meet you where you are and help you fall in love with color too. Each maker will leave with a unique colorway that tells a story about the nuances of who they are and the mark they want to leave on the world.
