About Shae: Shae Freeman is a GenXer, symbologist, Applied Astrologer, Reiki Master trained in three lineages, advanced Akashic Records practitioner, certified herbalist, astro physics major turned art major, crystal healer, and all around mystic.

She has experience with medical astrology, astrocartography, auric field studies, and flower essences, among MANY other things. She is a mixed media and collage artist, a self-proclaimed bird-nerd, and lover of tarot. In other words, she's our people!!!

Pine Needle Basketry for Connection & Continuity
For thousands of years, basketry has been a vital human technology—an essential way people across cultures have gathered, carried, stored, and shaped meaning from the natural world. In this 5-hour workshop, we’ll practice the time-honored technique of coiling with pine needles, creating small handwoven vessels that speak to both utility and spirit. You’ll learn how to start and build a basket using longleaf pine needles and synthetic sinew —an adaptable method that can be applied to many natural materials. Along the way, we’ll discuss how to gather and prepare plant ibers where you live, and how basketmaking invites us into deeper relationship with place, rhythm, and continuity. Expect a steady pace of work with moments of shared relection and quiet attention. There’s something elemental about shaping a vessel from gathered materials—slow work that speaks to memory, ancestry, and belonging. A practice of making that is both rooted and reverent, practical and prayerful. You’ll leave with a small handmade vessel, the knowledge to keep weaving, and a renewed sense of your place in the lineage of makers. Coiling a basket is a quiet act of devotion—one that roots you in the present, connects you to the land, and honors the long human story held in our hands.

Crystal Layouts for Healing & Creative Intention
Ready to explore crystal grids as tools for healing, clarity, and intentional creation?
In this 3-hour session, Shae guides you through the art of building and activating crystal grids— geometric layouts that help amplify energy and focus intention through the vibrational qualities of crystals.
You’ll learn:
  • The basics of grid design, function, and sacred geometry;
  • How to intuitively choose and work with stones for speci ic needs;
  • Ways to use grids for creative low, emotional support, protection, and manifestation.
We’ll explore both traditional and intuitive approaches to gridding, including the use of unconventional bases like magazine images, tarot cards, or paintings. Participants are also invited to incorporate personal or found sacred objects—such as bones, shells, or stones gathered from the land.
This class is both playful and intentional—an opportunity to experiment with energy, symbolism, and the creative intelligence of the mineral world. Whether you’re new to crystal work or deepening your connection, you’ll leave with a unique way to approach building grids. Come curious and leave with a deeper understanding of how these luminous tools can support your creative healing and spiritual alignment

  • A piece of colored card stock 8x8 or 10x10 Pencil, 
  • sharpie, 
  • some sort of drawing implement- doesn’t need to be fancy or artsy!
